Almost there...

Life can never really be predicted and you never really know exaclty where you should be . There is one thing, however, you can be sure of is; when you feel you are getting to that place that God wants you to be.

Mike and I have been so diligently looking for home to call our own this past year and really trusting the Lord and believing He would lead us to the right place. We searched, searched, and searched until we realized we weren't getting anywhere. Everyone around us seemed to be prospering, but when was it our turn? Should we move away? Should we just give up? Be still was the first thing the Lord told us to do, so we did. The second thing He reminded us was that He has not given us the spirit of fear. Okay, thanks Lord, but what about our house? Then the third thing? You got it, He told us it's in His timing not ours. Throughout this whole process I think we totally lost site of who was in control. Then it seems as soon as we finally understood that, things became clear...

A friend of ours was looking to rent her house. My brother in law and his wife were very interested but they were bit apprehensive with the move. So literally in a simulataneous reaction ( that often happens when you are one ) Mike and I both said, we'll move in with you! It's almost like in an instant we knew this is what we are supposed to be doing right now. Helping our family while finding ourselves as Husband and Wife.

Have you ever been in a place in your life where you're not exactly where you thought you'd be but you know you're headed in the right direction? That's where I am right now. It's not my ideal start, but then again I would'nt change it. There are so many doors that are opening just by listening. So, here we are Lord , ready and willing to do what you want us to do or go where you want us to. I am so happy with where we are now. So happy that in a sense we can finally relax, focus on our future, and get back on the right track.
