I truly believe that when you have friends, you have been blessed. Not everyone has the ability to keep friends at a deep level. Sure we have people that we "know" and those we see on occasion. But those deep relationships that are meaningful are really hard to come by.

Yesterday I had a chat with one of my Friends. It was such a heartfelt talk ,that I felt I wanted to share the importance of keeping relationships close and nurturing them. Sometimes we get so caught up in our lives , which is fine, But we need to stop and remember we need friends to give us "energy." My talk with this friend sort of renewed strength in our friendship and I remembered why we were friends to begin with. God puts people in your life for a reason, some for a season, others for a lifetime. I have been truly blessed with lifetime friends!

Remember, no matter what happens in friendships, if its worth it, do whatever it takes to keep it. Friends will not always agree and sometimes may even have a falling out, but remember why you were friends to begin with. We need to lift each other up and encourage each other. Compliment each other, let them know they matter. Renew your friendships, they are good for you! It's good for your soul and believe me it makes life worth while

"we are more than we know"

So I had to edit post because I wanted to add some scripture to support my thoughts on friendship. I ran across a couple of scriptures that I thought were great. Prov 27:10 "Never abandon a friend, either yours or your Fathers. When disaster strikes, you wont have to ask your brother for assistance. It's better to go to a neighbor than to a brother who lives far away" (NLT)
Prov. 27:10 "There are friends who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer then a brother". (NLT) Great words to live by!
